Panasonic Australia has announced a release of a Skype enabled Camera. This will let us make two-ways video and voice calls from our living room, if you have a Viera TV.
It is priced at around $200, which I think is a bit expensive for a camera, after all any camera works on Skype, but the Skype Camera promises to be clearer, more effective, and specially designed for Skype. It connects using a USB 2.0 socket and can capture images up to 5 meters away.
With the recent addition of the iPad and newer range of communication devices, the Panasonic Skype Camera will change the way we keep in touch, in contrast to the usage computers and mobile phones.
